Bicycle Warehouse opened it's doors for the first time on July 4th, 1992. Back then we were called Mountain Bike Warehouse because that's all we sold. As we grew so did our selection of bikes and we became Bicycle Warehouse.Our original store is still getting tons of butts on bikes. The big metal warehouse building (you can probably guess where we got our name from) has become a familiar sight along Interstate 5 in Pacific Beach to nearly everyone in San Diego County. We've grown a lot with a bunch of stores and other related businesses in our portfolio now, but our mission is the same "to inspire your passion to ride so you enjoy more fitness, freedom and fun". Our shop is located at the foot of the popular San Clemente Singletrack Trails (SCST). SCST offers riding for novices to professionals and everyone in between! Our founders and team members ride the trails almost daily; for a few of them, their passion in biking was cemented there. The love for riding at SCST and the desire to bring a local shop to the community led to the opening of Bike Works. We are excited to work and help other riders become better riders as we aim to be South County's premier bike shop. [read more]
