Back in 2002, we opened our first store in an effort to make natural foods accessible to everyone. Up until then, grocers offering fresh, organic choices were either too expensive to shop or too hard to find. We wanted to be different! No more weaving through a maze of narrow aisles without anyone offering to help. No more ingredient lists featuring 40 unpronounceable chemicals. And most of all, no more spending an entire paycheck for food from the honest effort of a farmer – not a factory. To us, being different is good! People thought we were crazy when we wouldn’t sell the country’s top-selling sodas, snacks and candy. But we believed that eating clean and living healthy was more than just a trend. At Sprouts, it’s our passion. And we knew that by focusing on farm-fresh produce and other healthy, affordable items, we could create a grocery experience where you didn’t have to be wealthy to eat healthy! Meet Renee Renee Moreno, Owner Renee’s bookkeeping journey began in a successful coffee shop, Pannikin La Jolla, back in 2007. As a small business owner, the day-to-day business operations of maintaining her success were her main focus and responsibility. However, as her business grew, she found her passion and interest was in the accounting and financial organizing to make informed and efficient business decisions. She sold the business in 2017 and returned to school where she focused on Mathematics and Accounting. She joined a payroll company assisting a wide range of business owners (30+ companies) with their monthly bookkeeping. In October 2021, Renee and her wife, Sara, welcomed a baby girl into their family and bought a home in beautiful Temecula, CA. She decided that the best thing for them would be to start her own bookkeeping business to be able to spend more time with her daughter, and two stepsons, sparking the beginning of ‘Temeculinda.’ About Temeculinda Bookkeeping Temeculinda - A play on words with the city of Temecula and the Spanish word for pretty, ‘linda,’ was launched in 2022 by Renee Moreno. Temeculinda is a boutique bookkeeping service offering clients across a variety of industries. Renee provides accurate monthly reports to support owners to understand the health of their business and feel confident in financial decision making. All end-of-year reports are tax-ready and while Renee is not a certified tax-preparer, she is happy and work closely with your CPA to provide all necessary reports and insights into your unique business. 1909 Temecula
1909 Temecula, founded in September 2014, is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Our name, 1909, comes from the year our building was re-built after burning down in 1908. Well before the 1909 burger was created, our building was home to a trading post, livery, auto shop, church and most notably a bar. During the 60's & 70's, the Long Branch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. In fact, several bullet holes still remain in the ceiling. Today, the building serves as an ideal spot for unique food, handcrafted cocktails and craft beer. 1909 has an industrial appearance that is still inviting and fun. Sit on one of the patios for sun and people watching, or sit inside for a pub atmosphere unlike any other in the Temecula Valley. We even have dog bowls and a menu for your four-legged friends! The Board Source
Board Source Owner/Founder: Born and raised in the small “funky” beach town, Leucadia CA in North San Diego County. Growing up, Jon surfed daily, skated, rode BMX, and even raced motocross professionally. A dad raising two kids, Jon kept his love for surfing even when times were tough. In 2014-ish Jon was broke and at a crossroads as he phased out of his real estate career. He started buying used surfboards, patching them up, and reselling them after a few sessions. It was fun selling surfboards to friends and neighbors while getting to try out a variety of different models and designs. Investing what little profit he made into buying more and more surfboards, Jon was now selling 100 boards out of his parent’s garage in Leucadia. The Board Source was born. The business rapidly outgrew the garage much to the chagrin of the neighbors. Not interested in the traditional surf shop model, Jon chose the current warehouse location in Carlsbad, CA. 800 square feet felt like plenty of space. It was not… thousands of surfboards later, the Board Source now occupies 5,000 square feet with an ever-rotating stock of 600+ new and used surfboards. Present day, Jon dawn patrols every morning with his now adult son and daughter and surfs and travels with his surfer wife, Kira. No longer a one-man show, Jon has recruited some of the best in the surfboard business to handle the day-to-day operations. His number one goal is a high level of customer service to create the ultimate board-buying experience. “My team has now taken my shop to a whole new level.
