With 19 professional bouts under his name and appearing in numerous televised fights, He now brings the experience, knowledge and intelligence to Temecula Boxing. Certified USA Amateur Boxing Coach License Professional Boxing Coach Francisco (Panchito) Jimenez He began boxing as an amateur at the age of 14 and after 15 wins in Mexico , in which he got his first and only amateur loss. He turned Professional in 1970, with over 20 professional fights he now leads Temecula boxers to victories. Panchito comes from boxing royalty, many in Mexico believe his uncle/trainer Humberto “Betillo’ Jimenez is one of the best boxers of its era. Panchito has produce and train numerous World Champs on both side of the border, which includes his son Jose Alfredo Jimenez ( WBC) #1 rank in 1990, His nephew Betillo Jimenez Youth WBC Champion (2011), His niece Leticia Gutierrez (WBO) classified to name a few. Certified USA Amateur Boxing Coach License Professional Boxing Coach Joseph Rodrigues As a Southeast Academy of Military and Law Enforcement graduate, Joseph has become a key developer in enhancing and developing military cadet’s physical reediness and now he shares his knowledge with amateurs and Professional Boxers and MMA fighters. He has the technique and knowledge to utilize cross functioning training as a conditioning coach, you would be glad he puts the interest of his athletes first, and provides some of the most successful s strength and conditioning programs in the world. Certified USA Amateur Boxing Coach Juwawn Hairston Juwawn is a well-respected instructor, he represented the All Marine Boxing Team and fought in many top level national and international competition as an amateur boxer in the early 1990’s. He’s is a decorated Marine, that leads with exemplified service as a coach, mentor and leader. In 2010, Juwawn extended his expertise to the USMC and become the Camp Pendleton Varsity Boxing Coach. His coaching expertise as a boxer, lead his team to many victories. He now assists Boxers and MMA individuals the art of “The Sweet Science” at Temecula Boxing Training Academy. Surf Ride Boardshop
Surf Ride was founded in 1974 by twin brothers Bill and Richard Bernard with the original and flagship location being in Oceanside on Coast Hwy. Bill and Richard started out in a little 800 sqf adobe building on what was then called "Hill Street" in Oceanside CA. Originally a Hobie Cat dealership with a focus on the core sports of the ocean. As sailing became less popular and every time it rained in Oceanside the adobe building would leak water through the walls and the streets would flood the front door, the brothers decided it was time to build a new building. They knew that they needed one that could fulfill the dreams they had of becoming Californias premier destination shop for all things SURF! In 1984 they began construction on what is now Surf Ride. The building was originally split into 3 different business with a restaurant on the side. As business improved and the need for more space was fulfilled by tearing down walls and expanding the surf department. Business was booming for surf and after 13 years they decided it was time to open an second location. In 1997 the Solan Beach location was opened up. The 7,500 sqf store was custom built from the ground up to house the largest surfboard selection in California. By 2005 the brothers had both had enough of the daily grind and decided to retire and let the next generation take over the business. Dustin and Josh Bernard stepped in to let their dad and uncle chase the dream of sailing the South Pacific and surfing perfect waves in warm water. Today, Dustin is actively shaping surfboards for Surf Ride under the SR/MFG label and Josh is the active CEO of Surf Ride. Surf Ride Boardshops are truly one of the last surviving core family owned surf shops in AMERICA. Surf Ride specializes in having the best boards, wetsuits, and clothing that the surf industry has to offer. They also have an amazing fleet of rental boards both foam boards and custom hand shaped epoxy boards. During the summer Surf Ride Surf Camp is the best place for kids to learn how to surf! Destination Temecula Wine Tours and Experiences
Dave Wilson moved to Temecula in 1991 to serve as the opening Director of Sales and Marketing for a brand-new area hotel. At that time the entire Temecula Valley consisted of ~27,000 residents (compared to over 600,000 today), ONE stoplight and seven wineries. That same year, partnering with the then Executive Director of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, they created the valley’s first tourism committee, Dave chairing the initial two years. This committee ultimately segued to today’s non-profit “Visit Temecula Valley”. Two factors crystalized his awareness of the opportunities to come and were key in Dave’s decision to take the plunge and step away from the corporate world to follow his dream to be an entrepreneur. A tourism project he spearheaded as committee chair reinforced his awareness of the amazing mix (even at that very early stage) and breadth of area attributes attractive to visitors such as the valley’s distinct scenery and topography, weather, historical significance and area activities including golf, wine tasting and outdoor recreation.
