Most kids dreamed of being astronauts, or doctors, or teachers... when I was a child, my lifelong goal was to get to be Alice at Disneyland. I mean serious #goals right? Following that, I would have said my sights were set on the Broadway stage. And although I spent many years on the stage, and even at a performing arts high school (Fame anyone?), it wasn't until several years into adulthood when I purchased my first digital camera. To be honest, I got it to document my travels around the world. But then one day I was asked if I would document a friend's wedding because I took "pretty pictures." I'm not sure what compelled me to say yes, but it was like a lightbulb went off. I was OBSESSED. I finally had an excuse to EAT CAKE on a regular basis. His father’s eventual residency not only allowed for a joyous reunion with his grandmother in Oaxaca after 20 years apart but also opened doors for better job opportunities and the freedom to live without fear. These experiences inspired Narciso to dedicate his life to helping others navigate the complex path to legal residency and citizenship Narciso earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, all while working full-time to support himself. He then pursued his legal education in San Diego, driven by a passion to serve the immigrant community with compassion and understanding.
