If you are looking for music lessons, performing arts classes, or fine arts classes in Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar, Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore or the surrounding areas, you have come to the right place! The Academy of Music and Arts, with campuses in Murrieta and Menifee, has been offering private music lessons for students as young as 5 on guitar, voice, piano, drums, strings, woodwinds, brass, ukulele, and more since 1990. Programs for group lessons, including piano, guitar, and vocal ensembles are also available for students of various ages, as are our community-staple Rock Bands. For the aspiring actors, we offer drama classes and musical theater classes. For children 2 through 7, we offer Music Fun Time, a nationally recognized music program for young beginners, backed by research from the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University. Our Murrieta music lessons and arts school also offers multiple, low-pressure performances for our students. Tresino's, a family owned and operated business, originated three generations ago in St. Louis, MO. in a predominately Italian community called "The Hill". It was in the basement of Nana Giovannina Mazzocchio's modest shotgun-style home that she perfected her family recipes. She even furnished many surrounding gourmet Italian restaurants with her well-loved homemade pastas. Nana Giovannina owned and operated her first restaurant in 1964. Her restaurant was very popular and frequented by many celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ginger Rogers, and Betty Grable to name a few. In 1982 her son, Lorenzo Mazzocchio, wife Sheryl, along with their nephew, opened Pasta House Ferrantelli in San Juan Capistrano, preparing the same generational recipes along with those he developed himself. In 1986 he moved his small twelve table restaurant into the Dana Point Marina and Ristorante Ferrantelli became one of the most popular four star fine dining Italian restaurants in Orange County. In 1991 they opened Mangia Bene Ristorante in Laguna Niguel, making this restaurant one that would cater to the casual Southern California lifestyle. Now Nana Giovannina's grandchildren, Gino and Theresa, son and daughter to Lorenzo and Sheryl, are bringing to the Inland Empire that same fresh Italian food experience!
