As I transitioned into civilian life and pondered my next steps, unexpectedly, I discovered the captivating sport of pickleball. What began as a mere hobby swiftly transformed into a crucial outlet for navigating the challenges of adapting to civilian life. Moreover, pickleball presented a unique opportunity for me to embrace my new role as a father to a young boy named Billy, affectionately known as 'The Bill.'
