Some of life’s most valuable lessons are passed down from fathers to their sons. Whether it’s riding a bike, tying a tie or changing a tire, or how to do an AC tune-up the right way, lessons fathers teach can last a lifetime. I remember, riding along with my dad Ron on HVAC service calls and installs, learning the technical side of the trade and the value of a dollar. My father taught me to work hard and always “Go The Extra Mile” for each customer. I loved working alongside my dad and soaking up every lesson he taught me, it helped me develop a passion for helping people and taught me the right way to “Wow” a customer. Thanks to the lessons I learned from my father, and a lot of hard work, We Care has grown into to be the #1 AC and Plumbing company in all of Southern California, even winning several awards for our customer service from both customers and from our peers. Hard work and determination paid off, and the company now boasts over 150 team members that make up the We Care Family. With headquarters in state-of-the-art facilities in both Murrieta and Orange, California, We Care continues to flourish and build its loyal following through the unmatched value it provides to customers. Destination Temecula Wine Tours and Experiences
Dave Wilson moved to Temecula in 1991 to serve as the opening Director of Sales and Marketing for a brand-new area hotel. At that time the entire Temecula Valley consisted of ~27,000 residents (compared to over 600,000 today), ONE stoplight and seven wineries. That same year, partnering with the then Executive Director of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, they created the valley’s first tourism committee, Dave chairing the initial two years. This committee ultimately segued to today’s non-profit “Visit Temecula Valley”. Two factors crystalized his awareness of the opportunities to come and were key in Dave’s decision to take the plunge and step away from the corporate world to follow his dream to be an entrepreneur. A tourism project he spearheaded as committee chair reinforced his awareness of the amazing mix (even at that very early stage) and breadth of area attributes attractive to visitors such as the valley’s distinct scenery and topography, weather, historical significance and area activities including golf, wine tasting and outdoor recreation. We are most proud of our ability to take traditional pastries and combine them with our Latin culture through flavors or taking traditional Latin American pastries and combine them with local flavors. Our culture is a mixture of our heritage (Peruvian, Mexican, Puerto Rican) and our upbringing (Californian) and we like to share that with our community through pastries. At Sweet Story Company, our mission is to be more than just a local bakery – we are a bridge that connects our community to the rich tapestry of Latin American culture through the universal language of food. Rooted in our passion for culinary craftsmanship and cultural heritage, we dedicate ourselves to crafting baked goods and food that not only satisfy palates but also tell stories, evoke memories, and celebrate the vibrant diversity of Latin America. It all started with a wife who loves to bake and a husband who loves to travel. In 2019, Ursula started baking custom cakes for friends and family.
