Most kids dreamed of being astronauts, or doctors, or teachers... when I was a child, my lifelong goal was to get to be Alice at Disneyland. I mean serious #goals right? Following that, I would have said my sights were set on the Broadway stage. And although I spent many years on the stage, and even at a performing arts high school (Fame anyone?), it wasn't until several years into adulthood when I purchased my first digital camera. To be honest, I got it to document my travels around the world. But then one day I was asked if I would document a friend's wedding because I took "pretty pictures." I'm not sure what compelled me to say yes, but it was like a lightbulb went off. I was OBSESSED. I finally had an excuse to EAT CAKE on a regular basis.
