An Enrolled Agent is authorized at a federal level by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent tax payers before the IRS. They specialize in taxes. What are they authorized to do? CPA's and Enrolled Agents are athorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and have unlimited rights to do so.
