Our Story When brothers Kurt and John Tiedt decided to go into the winemaking business with a group of close friends, it wasn’t for fame and fortune. Somerset Vineyard & Winery continues a legacy of sharing good times with others, a cornerstone of the Tiedt Brothers philosophy for decades. Together with their wives Nesreen and Gina, close friends and partners Steve and Jen Gourley, Kim Scott, Kal and Sawsan Khoury, Bert and Maria Contestabile, and Mic and Dena Ruhley, we formed a small investment group that turned a dream into a reality. Somerset Vineyard & Winery is also dedicated to the memory of their close childhood friend Robert Trummeter who lost his battle against cancer shortly before acquiring the winery. Somerset Vineyard & Winery is a destination and a wine for anyone who appreciates the joy of friendship, the thrill of life, and the taste of fun. We welcome you to come and make memories with us. Somerset was the street of their childhood and adolescence, growing up in the suburbs of Orange County, California. Somerset recalls lifelong friendships, family celebrations and countless memories. I get asked all the time how I got started grinding camshafts and building engines. I learned my love of grinding camshafts from my dad, legendary Drag Racing Hall of Famer H. Bruce Crower. As a kid I knew I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps as soon as he started teaching me about engines. I’ve spent the last two decades grinding camshafts, building engines and testing in order to come up with the best camshaft grinds to meet my customers’ demands. We couldn’t be where we are now without working across the board with many different types of racing applications. Working with different engine configurations, engine builders and race series during the last 20+ years has helped me to develop a catalog of camshaft masters that can be applied to almost any camshaft for almost any four-stroke configuration. This catalog of masters has helped grow our product line to include Automotive, Off Road, Marine, Motorcycle, ATV, UTV and Custom ground camshafts. With over 130 of our own camshaft part numbers we usually have a camshaft to meet any customers’ needs. Hello! My name is Nina :) I’m a professional tattoo artist operating out of Adorn Uptown Body Art in the beautiful Uptown Village neighborhood of Vancouver, WA. Motivated by my deep love for the arts, I studied and completed a degree in Fine Arts before learning to tattoo, and I’ve been tattooing for about 5 years now! I specialize in black and gray realistic/surrealistic tattooing, with occasional bold color accents.
