And although I spent many years on the stage, and even at a performing arts high school (Fame anyone?), it wasn't until several years into adulthood when I purchased my first digital camera. To be honest, I got it to document my travels around the world. But then one day I was asked if I would document a friend's wedding because I took "pretty pictures." I'm not sure what compelled me to say yes, but it was like a lightbulb went off. I was OBSESSED. I finally had an excuse to EAT CAKE on a regular basis.
