HOW I GOT STARTED IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY Lucky for me, I grew up with a Grandmother that owned one of the oldest & well known Flower shops in the South Bay Area. She also believed firmly in child labor LOL. Needless to say I was blessed at a very early age with a life long creative gift & priceless valuable knowledge in the flower industry <3. By the age of 8 I had big dreams of being a Lawyer. In my 8 year old mind I imagined myself litigating in court well. As a child I thought I had it all figured out hahaha. Throughout the years I was subjected to child labor, I truly grew to love flowers and being creative (not to mention law school is outrageously expensive!). At the age of 19, I convinced my Grandmother to retire and sell her shop to me ("Carson Florist and Gifts" located in Carson, CA). After several years of owning a retail flower shop, I decided to relocate to the Temecula Valley area. I wanted to start raising a family and let's be honest the cost of living is an huge plus compared to Los Angeles county. As soon as my children hit school age I created Sweet Stems Florist. I wanted to specialize specifically in designing for Events. I prefer and enjoy the Event side of floral design so much more vs the storefront retail side. As an Event Florist I feel like I am able to provide a more personalized experience to each of my clients. The Services that I offer will stand out above others in my industry because I strive for excellent quality and affordability for my clients. I take great pride in my artistic creativity and the quality of product I offer to my customers. Dr. Whitney Boulton is a born and raised Californian with a passion for outdoor activities, travel, live music, and geeking out about anatomy. Her undergraduate studies earned her a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Redlands. In grad school, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating top of her class, Suma Cumlade, from Life Chiropractic College West. Along her educational journey she has taken two, 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings, the first with Troy McPeak in Unified Yoga, and the second with Kelley Doyle in Prana Vinyasa. Through her ten plus year journey, she has gotten to experience the benefit that a weekly yoga practice provides on, and off, a mat. This experience has been so profound that she has created her dream practice around blending her two passions, chiropractic and yoga. Vince’s Spaghetti restaurants are the only restaurants for Real Italian Spaghetti. When Vince’s Spaghetti first opened in Ontario, California in September 1945; it was a simple, six stool, open air restaurant without a kitchen. Back then, Grandma Rose prepared all of the food in her kitchen 50 yards away and hand carried it to the customers. The original Vince’s Spaghetti was located on Highway 70-99, which was the main road to Palm Springs at the time. The business was run by three brothers and their wives. By 1968, Vince’s was billed as the largest spaghetti restaurant west of the Mississippi River (with a kitchen!), seating more than 400 people. Tresino's, a family owned and operated business, originated three generations ago in St. Louis, MO. in a predominately Italian community called "The Hill". It was in the basement of Nana Giovannina Mazzocchio's modest shotgun-style home that she perfected her family recipes. She even furnished many surrounding gourmet Italian restaurants with her well-loved homemade pastas. Nana Giovannina owned and operated her first restaurant in 1964. Her restaurant was very popular and frequented by many celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ginger Rogers, and Betty Grable to name a few. In 1982 her son, Lorenzo Mazzocchio, wife Sheryl, along with their nephew, opened Pasta House Ferrantelli in San Juan Capistrano, preparing the same generational recipes along with those he developed himself. In 1986 he moved his small twelve table restaurant into the Dana Point Marina and Ristorante Ferrantelli became one of the most popular four star fine dining Italian restaurants in Orange County. In 1991 they opened Mangia Bene Ristorante in Laguna Niguel, making this restaurant one that would cater to the casual Southern California lifestyle. Now Nana Giovannina's grandchildren, Gino and Theresa, son and daughter to Lorenzo and Sheryl, are bringing to the Inland Empire that same fresh Italian food experience!
