Vince’s Spaghetti restaurants are the only restaurants for Real Italian Spaghetti. When Vince’s Spaghetti first opened in Ontario, California in September 1945; it was a simple, six stool, open air restaurant without a kitchen. Back then, Grandma Rose prepared all of the food in her kitchen 50 yards away and hand carried it to the customers. The original Vince’s Spaghetti was located on Highway 70-99, which was the main road to Palm Springs at the time. The business was run by three brothers and their wives. By 1968, Vince’s was billed as the largest spaghetti restaurant west of the Mississippi River (with a kitchen!), seating more than 400 people. Today, because of your patronage, we’ve grown to 3 locations, all family owned and operated, still serving Grandma Rose’s original recipes. The Temecula location is an Express specializing in serving the community the original recipes as our historic first location yet ready for your both for Dine-In and for Drive-Thru. Board Source Owner/Founder: Born and raised in the small “funky” beach town, Leucadia CA in North San Diego County. Growing up, Jon surfed daily, skated, rode BMX, and even raced motocross professionally. A dad raising two kids, Jon kept his love for surfing even when times were tough. In 2014-ish Jon was broke and at a crossroads as he phased out of his real estate career. He started buying used surfboards, patching them up, and reselling them after a few sessions. It was fun selling surfboards to friends and neighbors while getting to try out a variety of different models and designs. Investing what little profit he made into buying more and more surfboards, Jon was now selling 100 boards out of his parent’s garage in Leucadia. The Board Source was born. The business rapidly outgrew the garage much to the chagrin of the neighbors. Not interested in the traditional surf shop model, Jon chose the current warehouse location in Carlsbad, CA. 800 square feet felt like plenty of space. It was not… thousands of surfboards later, the Board Source now occupies 5,000 square feet with an ever-rotating stock of 600+ new and used surfboards. Present day, Jon dawn patrols every morning with his now adult son and daughter and surfs and travels with his surfer wife, Kira. No longer a one-man show, Jon has recruited some of the best in the surfboard business to handle the day-to-day operations. About Us Our slogan is "Quality materials, expert installation, and value pricing" We are a full-service flooring retailer. Our main clientele is the large retirement community of Sun City. Seniors are often looked at as easy targets by some who are looking to make a quick sale, and that has made many in the community wary of doing business with anyone that uses high-pressure tactics. We try to cultivate our place in the community as a provider for their flooring needs now and in the future, and not in pursuit of a quick, one-time transaction. Customers shop with us because they are in need of some variant of flooring. Our knowledge of the industry and the products we have available give us a real leg-up against our competitors. I have been in the orbit of this industry my entire life, and my father has been in flooring for going on 40 years. We started the business in the summer of 2008. Most will agree that year was probably the least hospitable year in memory for commercial enterprise. Ours was a genesis of necessity; flooring stores were closing everywhere, and, as a flooring contractor, we needed to generate business any way we could. The first few years were very rough. Weeks would go by when we saw only a handful of customers walk through our doors. As we generated more and more of a foothold in the local community, we started to receive references from previous clients, and that got us through the tumultuous economy into which we first opened our doors.
