She attended FIDM in Los Angeles as a Fashion Design major and ended up pursuing a career in retail fashion. The company was started in the early 1960's with Len Stark being the original owner. Jack and Alice Miller ran the store through the 1970's. In 1982 Rex and Lorene Brinneman bought the business from the Miller's and named it Sun City Gift and Hardware. Rex ran the hardware side of the store while Lorene maintained the gift items. In 2000 the store moved into their new building that sits adjacent from the original shopping center in Sun City, where it had been for nearly 40 years. The current owner, Greg Brinneman purchased the store in 2008. With our friendly staff offering the best customer service possible, we intend on serving the community for many years to come.
