The Potters House Christian Fellowship Church
The story begins in Prescott, Arizona... The Jesus People Movement was sweeping America and multitudes of young people were being profoundly saved and converted to Christ. While many of the traditional churches closed their doors to the long haired, denim clad hippies, Pastor Wayman Mitchell received them with open arms. Pastor Mitchells solid grounding in the Word of God and his passion to take the Gospel into all the world was soon imparted in to the hearts of many zealous new converts. In a few short years, several young couples were launched into surrounding cities to pioneer new churches. In 1976, following the pattern that had been set in Prescott AZ, a couple was sent into Tempe, AZ to begin a new church. From there a couple was sent into San Diego, CA. Another church was formed when San Diego sent a couple into Imperial Beach, CA. It was in the Imperial Beach church that Uriel Servin Jr was saved, baptized, and was eventually sent to assume leadership of the church in Temecula, CA from Pastor Justin Carl who answered the call to go to Betim, Brazil. The emphasis of the church was Evangelism, Discipleship, Church Planting, and World Evangelism...and it still is! [read more]

His father worked tirelessly as a gardener and later in a kitchen, often logging 50-60 hours a week, while his mother devoted herself to caring for Narciso and his seven siblings in a modest one-bedroom apartment. Growing up, Narciso’s parents instilled in him the values of hard work, education, and the pursuit of the American Dream—opportunities that were unimaginable in their native Mexico. His mother’s dreams for her children to become doctors, engineers, or lawyers fueled his determination to succeed. As the first in his family to attend college and law school, Narciso understands the obstacles that immigrant families face and the importance of perseverance. Witnessing his family’s two-decade journey to obtain legal status profoundly impacted Narciso. His father’s eventual residency not only allowed for a joyous reunion with his grandmother in Oaxaca after 20 years apart but also opened doors for better job opportunities and the freedom to live without fear. These experiences inspired Narciso to dedicate his life to helping others navigate the complex path to legal residency and citizenship Narciso earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, all while working full-time to support himself. He then pursued his legal education in San Diego, driven by a passion to serve the immigrant community with compassion and understanding. Since joining the California Bar in 2011, Narciso has passionately represented clients, focusing on addressing the injustices faced by undocumented immigrants, particularly in cases involving labor abuse and modern slavery under the T visa. Authorized to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the Executive Office for Immigration Review, he brings extensive experience to every case he handles. Before founding The Cruz Law Office, APC, Narciso honed his skills at one of San Diego’s largest immigration firms.
