In the summer of 1994, my wife Traci rescued our white lab Winston. Winston was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Several veterinarians recommended putting him down, but this was never an option for us. We began researching alternative medicine while working with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian. After several months, we developed a natural joint formula that gave Winston a second chance at life. Winston went on to enjoy ten long years of playing and swimming with his brothers. We soon found others who wanted only the best for their pets as well and VETCLASSICS, our exclusive complementary pet health supplements were born. [read more]

Our History Some say natural is the new normal – but at Sprouts, there’s nothing new about natural foods! Back in 2002, we opened our first store in an effort to make natural foods accessible to everyone. Up until then, grocers offering fresh, organic choices were either too expensive to shop or too hard to find. We wanted to be different! No more weaving through a maze of narrow aisles without anyone offering to help. No more ingredient lists featuring 40 unpronounceable chemicals. And most of all, no more spending an entire paycheck for food from the honest effort of a farmer – not a factory. To us, being different is good! People thought we were crazy when we wouldn’t sell the country’s top-selling sodas, snacks and candy. But we believed that eating clean and living healthy was more than just a trend. At Sprouts, it’s our passion. And we knew that by focusing on farm-fresh produce and other healthy, affordable items, we could create a grocery experience where you didn’t have to be wealthy to eat healthy! So think of Sprouts as all of the very best parts of a real farmers market under one roof, open every day of the week. With our commitment to value in every department, and knowledgeable and friendly team members, we’re confident that once you shop Sprouts you’ll think different is good too. Today we have grown to more than 380 stores with approximately 31,000 team members. It’s these individuals who are the key to our success. They’re the ones who put good at the heart of everything we do at Sprouts … every day, in every community, with every guest. [read more]

Our Heritage Our story begins in 1971 along the cobblestone streets of Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. It was here where Starbucks opened its first store, offering fresh-roasted coffee beans, tea and spices from around the world for our customers to take home. Our name was inspired by the classic tale, “Moby-Dick,” evoking the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders. Ten years later, a young New Yorker named Howard Schultz would walk through these doors and become captivated with Starbucks coffee from his first sip. After joining the company in 1982, a different cobblestone road would lead him to another discovery. It was on a trip to Milan in 1983 that Howard first experienced Italy’s coffeehouses, and he returned to Seattle inspired to bring the warmth and artistry of its coffee culture to Starbucks. By 1987, we swapped our brown aprons for green ones and embarked on our next chapter as a coffeehouse. Starbucks would soon expand to Chicago and Vancouver, Canada and then on to California, Washington, D.C. and New York. By 1996, we would cross the Pacific to open our first store in Japan, followed by Europe in 1998 and China in 1999. Over the next two decades, we would grow to welcome millions of customers each week and become a part of the fabric of tens of thousands of neighborhoods all around the world. In everything we do, we are always dedicated to Our Mission: With every cup, with every conversation, with every community - we nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection. [read more]

Back in 1958, you couldn’t get a mouthwatering steak dinner just anywhere. You had to either sweat over the grill or save up for a rare treat. As affordable fast-food fever swept the nation, Del and Helen Johnson of Culver City, CA asked themselves, They opened the first Sizzler Family Steak House, great for special occasions and any occasion with the best parts of the steak house served up casual-dining style. Sizzle is the magic that you get when we take the time to invest in the little things. And that’s still what we do today, from the perfect sear on our hand-cut steaks to the crispy parmesan smothered cheese toast with every meal. [read more]

Bicycle Warehouse opened it's doors for the first time on July 4th, 1992. Back then we were called Mountain Bike Warehouse because that's all we sold. As we grew so did our selection of bikes and we became Bicycle Warehouse. Our original store is still getting tons of butts on bikes. The big metal warehouse building (you can probably guess where we got our name from) has become a familiar sight along Interstate 5 in Pacific Beach to nearly everyone in San Diego County. We've grown a lot with a bunch of stores and other related businesses in our portfolio now, but our mission is the same "to inspire your passion to ride so you enjoy more fitness, freedom and fun". In May of 2006, Mike and Debbie, the owner-operators of Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours had purchased a motorized 1914 San Francisco cable car. Debbie was reluctant of the purchase because of the shape it was in, but Mike could visualize a restored cable car running through Temecula and he couldn’t wait to restore the car to its former glory! It took over two years to refurbish and fully-restore the cable car to its original conditions, but with a lot of patience, sandpaper, paint, and mechanical parts, the cable car was restored and set off to cruise through the beautiful Temecula wine country. Our San Francisco cable car is the only historical moving monument left in the United States, and even though the cable car is motorized, passengers will experience the feel and essence of San Francisco as they experience Temecula Valley wine country! More About Tarra Over the past 10 years Tarra has learned what it takes to be a great designer and that the key to running a successful business is customer service. A lot of people can create a great design, but it takes dedication, project management skills, and follow-up to make sure the end result is beyond the client’s expectations. Resources play an important role in design and Tarra has accounts with some of the most recognized brands in the home furnishings industry. She focuses on presenting her clients with a great design plan including quality home furnishings, draperies, and accessories at competitive pricing. Like a great pair of jeans “Designer” doesn’t mean it’s expensive, it means it has been well thought out by a professional to make you look good, feel good, and get everyone’s attention. Our History It’s hard to imagine, but when we opened Texas Lil’s back in January of 1987, there was just one street light and McDonald’s had not even been built! Temecula was often called Rancho California because we were not even a city but just an unincorporated area of Riverside County without a police department. Our little hometown events like the Tractor Race, Balloon & Wine Festival, Rod Run & Quilt Show, and others have grown into major tourist attractions. Although we have seen tremendous growth, the wonderful things that originally drew us to the Temecula Valley remain. Beautiful surroundings, great weather, terrific educational opportunities, and easy access to anywhere else we want to visit. Texas Lil’s is and remains a family-owned and operated business. The restaurant is our business, our hobby, and our passion. It is part of the fabric of the Temecula community and we are thankful to be part of this history as well as the exciting future. We have come to be known for Good Friends Great Food Celebrate Daily We make our food from scratch using fresh ingredients delivered daily. Our salad dressings, sauces, and side dishes are all made in-house. Our Texas 2-Step Bar-B-Q method is the perfect way to create the most tender, flavor-filled ribs you will ever try. Our staff works hard to accommodate each guest's needs in a timely manner. Great food does require time to prepare – but it is absolutely worth it! If you are not happy, please let us know and we will try hard to fix the situation. Occasionally we can make a mistake, and when we do, we appreciate the opportunity to correct it. Texas Lil’s believes that our people are what make Lil’s unique and excellent. We truly care about your dining experience and want to provide you with an excellent memory. Let us know how we are doing, we love feedback. It helps us grow, and improve and let us know we are going in the right direction. Join Texas Lil's in the heart of Temecula Old Town Today!
