The Kilted Cake was founded in November 2012 by owners Josh & Vanessa Holtkamp. Vanessa has been a longtime baker of cakes, cookies, and all things sweet, but decided to take things to the next level when she began working at Pila's Pantry, our former store. After working for Pila's for several years, Vanessa and her husband Josh realized a passion and joy working in this industry and took the plunge in purchasing the shop. And so, The Kilted Cake was born! Maintaining a great relationship with the previous owners Pila’s Pantry (who maintain a store location in Norco, CA), we are dedicated to serving the Temecula, Murrieta, and surrounding areas. We are proud to continue our tradition of quality products, friendly service, and decorating classes. We offer a variety of decorating products for cakes, cupcakes, cookies and candies in addition to creating custom cakes for all occasions and offering decorating classes. We opened Tasty Noodle House with the belief that using fresh and wholesome ingredients from the start makes for the best tasting food. Our dishes are made with just the right blend of Western and Chinese flavors and spices. Johnny Pan, the founder of Tasty Noodle House, credits much of what we serve today to what he learned in his childhood cooking with his mother, a trained and first-rate chef in Shanghai. Ten years ago, we opened our first store in Hacienda Heights with 12 tables and heaps of noodles, pork buns, and some dumplings (of course). We made all our dumplings and buns by hand in our kitchen, and our noodles were made-to-order, fresh, and delivered twice a week by a local noodle company. Our noodles are always fresh, made with eggs, flour, and no artificial flavors or chemicals. Five years later, after a lot of hard work and a bit of luck, we opened four more locations and our own kitchen facility to make consistently delicious buns and dumplings to supply each of our locations daily. We have since grown to 8 locations in Southern California, where we prepare over 100 delicious dishes on our menu, hot and fresh to order. [read more]
