Vince’s Spaghetti restaurants are the only restaurants for Real Italian Spaghetti. When Vince’s Spaghetti first opened in Ontario, California in September 1945; it was a simple, six stool, open air restaurant without a kitchen. Back then, Grandma Rose prepared all of the food in her kitchen 50 yards away and hand carried it to the customers. The original Vince’s Spaghetti was located on Highway 70-99, which was the main road to Palm Springs at the time. The business was run by three brothers and their wives. By 1968, Vince’s was billed as the largest spaghetti restaurant west of the Mississippi River (with a kitchen!), seating more than 400 people.
