Do we really need another high-performance sports car? Can it really have an impact on the global carbon emissions problem? Well, the answer is no, not much. But that's not the point, unless you understand the secret master plan mentioned at the beginning of this article. Almost all new technologies initially have a high unit cost and will gradually be improved over time, and this is also true for electric vehicles. Tesla's strategy is to enter the high-end market, where consumers are willing to pay a higher price. Then, with the launch of each subsequent model, we aim to move towards a larger market as quickly as possible with greater production volume and lower prices.
