Our mission is to educate, transform and develop successful judokas in and out of the dojo. Bunasawa-Kai Judo/Jiu jitsu/MMA/Self-Defense organization was founded in 1972 by Nori Bunasawa, 9th-dan and founder of Jukkendo. Bunasawa kai dojo is a friendly environment that is open to all age groups located at the Higashi Honganji Temple in Costa Mesa California. Sensei Bunasawa has dedicated his life to perfecting and teaching the art of judo. He is a former all Japan weight limit judo champion and 1975 U.S. world team coach with over 45 years of teaching experience. Sensei Bunasawa is a Kodokan judo 9th-dan and the youngest grandmaster in California. He studied at Waseda University in Japan, under Yoshimi Osawa, Kodokan 10th-dan, Masahiko Kimura and Kenji Tomiki, founder of Tomiki-Akido. Temecula Valley Historical Society Antique Store
The Temecula Valley Historical Society was founded in 2001. The Society is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Our mission is identifying, preserving and promoting the historic legacy of the Temecula valley. Projects have included the placement of plaques and markers on historic buildings and sites in Old Town Temecula, the restoration of the Louis Wolf Tomb, the restoration of a stagecoach and the production of a DVD about the local history. The Society provides self guided walking tour maps of Old Town Temecula to local shopkeepers for public distribution. Monthly meetings are held at the Little Temecula History Museum which include speaker presentations on the local history of Temecula Valley. The Society also organizes local field trips as well as sending out volunteers to the community to educate children on the valley's historic legacy. We invite you to browse around our web site.
