However, simple plumbing leaks or overflows are far more common. While dealing with water damage may seem fairly simple (mop or wet vacuum; fans used to promote evaporation), unfortunately, this fails to consider the degree to which water can penetrate into structural cavities and assemblies, creating trapped pockets of saturation. Too late, property owners become aware of the ongoing effect of this trapped water on structural and contents materials, which may include: discoloration, warping, splitting, delamination, and musty odor, and mold growth. That’s where the certified water restoration professional comes in. He or she will be qualified through formal training and experience to remove excess water efficiently, promote efficient evaporation, and to establish the dehumidification conditions necessary to stop ongoing damage. Moreover, they can document the return of your property and contents to normal conditions to ensure that future problems will not be experienced. The consequences of ineffective restoration – including possible health effects – are far too great to leave water damage improperly restored. In 1996 to 1997, he served as President of the Association. In 1997 to 1998, John P. O’Connell chaired a Political Action Committee to oppose and defeat Federal Legislation designed to impose an industry surcharge on all cut flower products imported and sold in the United States. Besides the practice of Administrative law relevant to John P. O’Connell’s business and development projects, John P. O’Connell has represented other investment and business groups through the administrative law process of TUPS, CUPS, administration hearings and appeals. From 1999-2005, John P. O’Connell acted as in-house counsel and principal in various commercial projects including real estate development and construction in Orange County, Riverside County, Kern County, San Diego County and Mexico. Other business projects during this period include development of an Automotive Center and Retail Operations throughout Southern California. In 2005, John P. O’Connell went back into private law practice with the opening of offices in South Orange County and Temecula. John P.
