Vince’s Spaghetti restaurants are the only restaurants for Real Italian Spaghetti. When Vince’s Spaghetti first opened in Ontario, California in September 1945; it was a simple, six stool, open air restaurant without a kitchen. Back then, Grandma Rose prepared all of the food in her kitchen 50 yards away and hand carried it to the customers. The original Vince’s Spaghetti was located on Highway 70-99, which was the main road to Palm Springs at the time. The business was run by three brothers and their wives. By 1968, Vince’s was billed as the largest spaghetti restaurant west of the Mississippi River (with a kitchen!), seating more than 400 people. Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican
The year was 1997. The place, a little town in southern Utah called St. George. A lovely couple named Steve and Patricia Stanley started a restaurant called Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. Cafe Rio served authentic dishes derived from inspired recipes and traditional cooking of Northern Mexico’s Rio Grande region, Southern Texas, and New Mexico. Central to every bite was the belief that every ingredient must be fresh and made fresh to order. And you know what? People loved it. They couldn’t get enough of it. So much so, that one restaurant became six. In 2004, these six little restaurants caught the attention of a fine gentleman named Bob Nilsen. He purchased Cafe Rio from the Stanleys with the idea of spreading the love of making this fresh Mexican food to everyone in and around Utah and beyond. He made sure to keep the mantra of “fresh food, made fresh” at the very core of the brand. No freezers. No microwaves. Nothing premade. Mr. Nilsen has since moved on and a new team of quality-obsessed leaders have taken the wheel. To this day, our staff still begins each day, bright and early, hand-squeezing limes, hand-scooping avocados, chopping fresh vegetables, simmering sauces, and preparing the chef-inspired recipes our fans have come to love. Helio Motorized Bicycles was formed in 2009 and is the premiere motorized gas bike company in the USA. What separates our business from the rest is that we actually assemble our bikes. Most other companies sell kits and parts. This is great for the do-it-yourself home mechanic. However, if you aren’t experienced in mechanics it can be frustrating,costly and time consuming. There are many parts in the motor kits that are simply trash. Through tons of experience, we have thrown away what parts are cheap and faulty. Helio specializes in assembly (we have built hundreds), testing and tuning. We have engineered custom made parts for our Motorized Bicycles. These parts, increase dependability,quality and performance. Through trial and error, we have decided to concentrate on the 4 stroke gas motor instead of the 2 stroke. Why you ask? Go to for a write up on 2 vs. 4 stroke bicycle engines. Since we shifted to the 4 stroke, Helio has been able to concentrate on building bikes with these motors. In particular Helio has discovered ways to use both the Honda GXH50 and the smaller GX35. These motors, when mated to an American made Gearbox produce a reliable power plant. Our gas bikes get 150-250mpg and will cruise a comfortable 35mph! Helio is constantly trying to better our product with new parts and models. Who We Are The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. We trace our roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service. Many arrived home wounded or sick. There was no medical care or veterans’ pension for them, and they were left to care for themselves. In their misery, some of these veterans banded together and formed organizations that would eventually band together and become known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. After chapters were formed in Ohio, Colorado and Pennsylvania, the movement quickly gained momentum. Today, membership stands at nearly 1.7 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary. Our voice was instrumental in establishing the Veterans Administration, development of the national cemetery system, in the fight for compensation for Vietnam vets exposed to Agent Orange and for veterans diagnosed with Gulf War Syndrome. In 2008, we won a long-fought victory with the passing of a GI Bill for the 21st Century, giving expanded educational benefits to America’s active duty service members, and members of the guard and reserves, fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. We were the driving force behind the Veterans Access and Accountability Act of 2014, and continually fight for improved VA medical centers services for women veterans.
