About Teacher Chrissy Hi, my name is Chrissy Thompson and I am the owner and teacher at Storybook Cottage Preschool. I believe that social-emotional and relationship-based learning is vital in order to foster a child's development and future success in life. I truly enjoy taking part in a child’s preschool years as they make discoveries, engage with new friends, and test their ideas. It brings me so much joy to see the look of accomplishment on a child’s face when they do something they thought was impossible for the first time! Most recently I worked as a co-op preschool teacher where I worked with children and families together to help parents connect with their children as they learned new ways to support their child's development and growth. I have Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Long Beach State University and a Master's Degree in Child Life Sciences from Azusa Pacific University.
