In December 2017, we opened our doors here in the Temecula Valley. After having success at our sister restaurant, 1909 (a gastropub located in Old Town Temecula), we decided to take on a fun and new adventure in the breakfast world creating made-from-scratch dishes and offering local coffees & teas, craft beer and unique cocktails. We wanted to create a fun atmosphere that people can gather and enjoy themselves, sip on a coffee or cocktail and enjoy some good brunch all week long! Toast is a family affair to say the least! All furniture is built by the owners, the paintings on the walls are painted by staff members of 1909 & Toast, decor designed by the owners and menus designed by our long term team members! Helio Motorized Bicycles was formed in 2009 and is the premiere motorized gas bike company in the USA. What separates our business from the rest is that we actually assemble our bikes. Most other companies sell kits and parts. This is great for the do-it-yourself home mechanic. However, if you aren’t experienced in mechanics it can be frustrating,costly and time consuming. There are many parts in the motor kits that are simply trash. Through tons of experience, we have thrown away what parts are cheap and faulty. Helio specializes in assembly (we have built hundreds), testing and tuning. We have engineered custom made parts for our Motorized Bicycles. These parts, increase dependability,quality and performance. Through trial and error, we have decided to concentrate on the 4 stroke gas motor instead of the 2 stroke. Why you ask? Go to for a write up on 2 vs. 4 stroke bicycle engines. Since we shifted to the 4 stroke, Helio has been able to concentrate on building bikes with these motors. In particular Helio has discovered ways to use both the Honda GXH50 and the smaller GX35. These motors, when mated to an American made Gearbox produce a reliable power plant. Our gas bikes get 150-250mpg and will cruise a comfortable 35mph! Helio is constantly trying to better our product with new parts and models. HOW I GOT STARTED IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY Lucky for me, I grew up with a Grandmother that owned one of the oldest & well known Flower shops in the South Bay Area. She also believed firmly in child labor LOL. Needless to say I was blessed at a very early age with a life long creative gift & priceless valuable knowledge in the flower industry <3. By the age of 8 I had big dreams of being a Lawyer. In my 8 year old mind I imagined myself litigating in court well. As a child I thought I had it all figured out hahaha. Throughout the years I was subjected to child labor, I truly grew to love flowers and being creative (not to mention law school is outrageously expensive!). At the age of 19, I convinced my Grandmother to retire and sell her shop to me ("Carson Florist and Gifts" located in Carson, CA). After several years of owning a retail flower shop, I decided to relocate to the Temecula Valley area. I wanted to start raising a family and let's be honest the cost of living is an huge plus compared to Los Angeles county. As soon as my children hit school age I created Sweet Stems Florist. I wanted to specialize specifically in designing for Events. I prefer and enjoy the Event side of floral design so much more vs the storefront retail side. As an Event Florist I feel like I am able to provide a more personalized experience to each of my clients. The Services that I offer will stand out above others in my industry because I strive for excellent quality and affordability for my clients.
