Owner and operator Diana Lefort set out to establish a unique way for everyone to experience the beauty of Temecula Valley’s Wine Country. The result was Wine Country Trails by Horseback. Diana is a local resident whose passion and more than 3 decades of experience with horses provides a safe, relaxing and memorable experience to all riders. The rides are conducted with the highest level of professionalism and service with experienced and knowledgeable guides that work hard to exceed your expectations. But that's not the whole story... Over the years there has been a dramatic increase in the number of horses abused by their owners. These horses are often abandoned or just turned loose to fend for themselves, usually resulting in starvation and loss of life. Through the assistance of a local veterinarian, Diana has rehabilitated more than 50 horses. Living comfortably on a 20 acre ranch in Temecula Valley, these lovely horses get the treatment and care that they deserve while happily fulfilling a purpose once again. Through your patronage and support we can continue to take in more of these amazing animals. All proceeds are used for feed, medical care, and farrier services. Through natural horsemanship training we can recondition, rehabilitate and retrain these horses to live a healthy and productive life. Our experienced trainers evaluate each and every horse and condition them for touring guests through the vineyards. Every rescue horse will not fit this program. The Hotel Temecula
The Old WestHistoric Temecula Hotel Straight out of the Old West, the historic Hotel Temecula presents an unbroken connection with the history of Temecula. The hotel showcases museum quality artifacts tracing that history. All the hotel’s historic guest rooms are located on the second floor, where there also is one shared Gentlemans Room with 2 showers, and one shared Ladies Room with 2 showers. Old TownA Little Background The original Hotel opened the same year the Southern California Railroad first arrived in the Temecula Valley. It was built on this site in 1883 by R.J. and Mary Jane Welty. The second of the two hotels was rebuilt on this site after the first hotel was destroyed by fire in 1891. The present building was erected that same year. Both hotels were owned and operated by the Welty family for over thirty years. Later, owner Grace LeClare operated it as both an apartment house and hotel. It was purchased in 1960 by local historian Horace Parker and his wife Leverne who owned the hotel until 2014. The year it was purchased by the Beck Brothers. Only the third time since 1883 that ownership has changed hands. Relax with a cup of coffee in the Guest Parlor or step out onto the Front Porch and enjoy Main Street. The Hotel Temecula and grounds are the perfect setting for your Special Day or Event. Helio Motorized Bicycles was formed in 2009 and is the premiere motorized gas bike company in the USA. What separates our business from the rest is that we actually assemble our bikes. Most other companies sell kits and parts. This is great for the do-it-yourself home mechanic. However, if you aren’t experienced in mechanics it can be frustrating,costly and time consuming. There are many parts in the motor kits that are simply trash. Through tons of experience, we have thrown away what parts are cheap and faulty. Helio specializes in assembly (we have built hundreds), testing and tuning. We have engineered custom made parts for our Motorized Bicycles. These parts, increase dependability,quality and performance. Through trial and error, we have decided to concentrate on the 4 stroke gas motor instead of the 2 stroke. Why you ask? Go to for a write up on 2 vs. 4 stroke bicycle engines. Since we shifted to the 4 stroke, Helio has been able to concentrate on building bikes with these motors. In particular Helio has discovered ways to use both the Honda GXH50 and the smaller GX35. These motors, when mated to an American made Gearbox produce a reliable power plant. Our gas bikes get 150-250mpg and will cruise a comfortable 35mph! Helio is constantly trying to better our product with new parts and models.
