Tracing its beginnings back to a small grocery store in Yucaipa, CA, twin brothers and World War II veterans Cleo and Leo Stater purchased the original Stater Bros. Market from W.A. We no longer have any parts to do this anymore. It had just become too expensive to make the parts & by the time we were done doing so it would have been cheaper to just buy a new 2-speed reel. In addition to our Cal’s tan reel grease, we now offer a purple grease that works well for the anglers fishing in colder climates or light duty reels.
