The tea adventure started for me in the early 2000′s when I began to study tea and source and develop relationships with some of the finest growers, importers and blenders in the world. A partner and I cofounded a retail tea company in 2004, which eventually opened 3 stores in Southern California resort areas. In 2008, my husband and I became partners in a retail tea store called California Tea & Coffee Brewery in the Wine Country of Southern California, which we operated until December of 2012.
