Our Story Stater Bros. Markets is rooted in the American tradition and proudly celebrates a rich legacy of service to this great nation. Tracing its beginnings back to a small grocery store in Yucaipa, CA, twin brothers and World War II veterans Cleo and Leo Stater purchased the original Stater Bros. Market from W.A. Davis with a $600 down payment. In the midst of the Great Depression, Stater Bros. officially opened for business on August 17, 1936. Headquartered in San Bernardino, CA, Stater Bros. Markets is proudly celebrating 87 years of serving Southern California families. Today, Stater Bros. operates 169 supermarkets in seven counties throughout the area, and has approximately 18,000 employees with annual sales of over $4 billion. Previous Next In 1981, Stater Bros. late Executive Chairman Jack H. Brown, a proud Navy veteran born on Flag Day, took the helm of Stater Bros. Under Brown’s leadership the Company grew to become the largest privately owned Supermarket Chain in Southern California and the largest private employer in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Brown passed away in 2016. Prior to his passing, Brown appointed seasoned supermarket industry executive Pete Van Helden to the position of President and CEO. Van Helden also serves as our chairman of the board. Over the years Stater Bros. has become an iconic Southern California mainstay and trusted household name by consistently providing generations of customers with exceptional quality, everyday low prices, friendly service, fresh product offerings and full-service Meat Departments. The Company has been named amongst the Top 20 companies in the United States to offer exceptional job security for its employees according to a recent report published on Forbes.com. The Company has also been rated as the “best place to shop for groceries” among Full Service Supermarket Chains in Southern California according to a Leading National Consumer Magazine. Additionally, the Company remains steadfast in its commitment to “not just doing business in the community, but being part of the community.” Since 2008, Stater Bros. has contributed more than $80 million in food and funds to countless local organizations that support hunger relief, children’s well-being, education, health, and help for our Nation’s Veterans and active service members. Bio - Vera tinoco I started dancing at six years old studying Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance. My love for dancing started with dancing at home on my father’s feet. My life goal was to become a MD, but a turn of events guided me to Chemistry. After graduating in Chemistry and earning a PhD in Biochemistry, I travelled the world for scientific conference, while still doing dance performances throughout Europe and Russia. After working many hours in the lab, to blow some steam off I would spend nights at the dance studio. I left Italy in 2008 to move to San Diego to work at UCSD as Biochemist. Although I spend a lot of time studying and working, I also couldn’t let go of my passion for dancing. After integrating into my community, I fell in love with Latin music and dance. After doing experiments in the lab during the day, I spent the nights watching people dance. It took me months to get the courage to go out on the dance floor, but once I did, I was hooked. Throughout the years, I took many lessons and courses and ended up dancing with some of the great dancers of our time. In 2010, I started teaching some classes for fun to share my passion for Latin dance. It was incredible to see how many people shared my excitement and enjoyed my way to teach. After teaching classes for a few years, I had the thought, could I own my own dance company? During one of my classes, I had the luck to meet the man that I would eventually marry and have two wonderful children with. After spending 17 years in different labs all over the world doing research, I choose to have a family and raise my children. At that point I left my science career and with the incredible support of my husband, I made my dream of owning a dance company come true, taking my part-time hobby into a full-time business. That decision allowed me to the flexibility to live life on my own terms. In 2013, I moved my company to North County to build a community for local dancers, by having regular dance classes and dance social events that regularly bring around 150 people to each event. In 2018, I incorporated and currently in the process of finding my own location to add even more classes for the community. Questions, Concerns, Thoughts about Dance -- Contact Us. [read more]

The Home Depot Rental Center at Murrieta When you're starting to dive into a major DIY job, you might not have the specialty tools you need in your shed or garage. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Murrieta Tool Rental Center. Tool Rental Our tool rental options enlarge your toolbox with the exact tools you need to complete your project. It's not necessary to buy a specialized tool when you're not using it at least once a week. When you're thinking about buying a new tool, give it a spin before you choose which one to purchase. Whatever your situation, we have the power tools you're looking for. Leaf Blowers Try renting a leaf blower for winter yard maintenance. Spring will be here in no time, so have a leaf blower ready. It's less work than raking, and warmer, too. It's also more effective on concrete sidewalks, driveways, and hardscaping surfaces. Choose from push, walk-behind, or backpack leaf blowers, and get a jump on lawn and garden maintenance as fall changes to winter. Chainsaws Maintain the safety and beauty of the woody shrubs and trees in your yard with a rental chainsaw. Because you probably won't use this tool daily, rent it when it's time for some yard cleanup. When the leaves are off the trees, it's much easier to spot any troublesome branches and do basic trimming. We carry gas and electric chainsaws, so you're sure to find one that fits the project. Load 'N Go Trucks For large equipment rentals, we keep flatbed trucks ready to rent. We'll have the right size for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for packing, DIY and storage, it's easy to make us your source for truck rental as well. Whether you're in need of power tools like miter saws, everyday tools like drills, or large industry tools such as concrete mixers, we've got you covered. We'll even rent you the vehicle to transport it to your home. Let us help you complete your next DIY project with the best tools and transport for the project. [read more]
