Wine Country Catering is a prominent, boutique catering company serving Temecula, Murrieta, Temecula Wine Country, and surrounding areas. When we had the opportunity of opening a Cafe location we jumped on it. Because we needed the state-of-the-art kitchen that came with the cafe, and because the locals loved the casual dining lunch spot that they had frequented for nearly 20 years, we decided to keep the cafe concept alive. In the months following the opening of our new cafe, we redecorated and created the place of our dreams: charming, cozy, and casual. Somewhere that WE would like to hang out, where we could share a meal, conversation, and a bottle of wine . Thus was born "the Nook". While our customers would wait, we witnessed them unwinding and taking a moment for 'themselves'. This was when we knew we had just birthed the Nook. As we continued to develop the concept of the nook one evident topic that kept coming up was the importance of offering a space for people to relax, rejuvenate, and take some time for themselves. As a professional catering company the owner, Ronny Tompot, expressed that he noticed there aren't many rehearsal dinner spaces in Temecula and the places that are generally suggested have minimums and lack an interest in offering a space for people to unwind (Keyword) with their loved ones. Since we already recognized what the nook was forming into for our cafe guests we wanted to offer a space that would open solely for a private event, dinner rehearsal, corporate events, etc. after our cafe closes at 3p. Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours
In May of 2006, Mike and Debbie, the owner-operators of Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours had purchased a motorized 1914 San Francisco cable car. Debbie was reluctant of the purchase because of the shape it was in, but Mike could visualize a restored cable car running through Temecula and he couldn’t wait to restore the car to its former glory! It took over two years to refurbish and fully-restore the cable car to its original conditions, but with a lot of patience, sandpaper, paint, and mechanical parts, the cable car was restored and set off to cruise through the beautiful Temecula wine country. Our San Francisco cable car is the only historical moving monument left in the United States, and even though the cable car is motorized, passengers will experience the feel and essence of San Francisco as they experience Temecula Valley wine country!
