Because we needed the state-of-the-art kitchen that came with the cafe, and because the locals loved the casual dining lunch spot that they had frequented for nearly 20 years, we decided to keep the cafe concept alive. In the months following the opening of our new cafe, we redecorated and created the place of our dreams: charming, cozy, and casual. Somewhere that WE would like to hang out, where we could share a meal, conversation, and a bottle of wine . Thus was born "the Nook". While our customers would wait, we witnessed them unwinding and taking a moment for 'themselves'. This was when we knew we had just birthed the Nook. As we continued to develop the concept of the nook one evident topic that kept coming up was the importance of offering a space for people to relax, rejuvenate, and take some time for themselves. As a professional catering company the owner, Ronny Tompot, expressed that he noticed there aren't many rehearsal dinner spaces in Temecula and the places that are generally suggested have minimums and lack an interest in offering a space for people to unwind (Keyword) with their loved ones. Our Heritage Our story begins in 1971 along the cobblestone streets of Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. It was here where Starbucks opened its first store, offering fresh-roasted coffee beans, tea and spices from around the world for our customers to take home. Our name was inspired by the classic tale, “Moby-Dick,” evoking the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.
