Tresino's, a family owned and operated business, originated three generations ago in St. Louis, MO. in a predominately Italian community called "The Hill". It was in the basement of Nana Giovannina Mazzocchio's modest shotgun-style home that she perfected her family recipes. She even furnished many surrounding gourmet Italian restaurants with her well-loved homemade pastas. Nana Giovannina owned and operated her first restaurant in 1964. Her restaurant was very popular and frequented by many celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ginger Rogers, and Betty Grable to name a few. In 1982 her son, Lorenzo Mazzocchio, wife Sheryl, along with their nephew, opened Pasta House Ferrantelli in San Juan Capistrano, preparing the same generational recipes along with those he developed himself. In 1986 he moved his small twelve table restaurant into the Dana Point Marina and Ristorante Ferrantelli became one of the most popular four star fine dining Italian restaurants in Orange County. In 1991 they opened Mangia Bene Ristorante in Laguna Niguel, making this restaurant one that would cater to the casual Southern California lifestyle. Now Nana Giovannina's grandchildren, Gino and Theresa, son and daughter to Lorenzo and Sheryl, are bringing to the Inland Empire that same fresh Italian food experience! Under The Sun Line Dance
In the 80’s I attended a night time dance class I learned the basic steps of line dancing, when I moved to the Inland Empire not knowing i was going to teach this wonderful activity. I started to gain my experience when I decided to go to a class in Moreno Valley, Ca. By that time, all my Children were grown. I wanted to have and learn something that would allow me to express myself. Before I Knew it, I was having the time of my life learning and being a Teacher to others. I have been given the chance to meet with some wonderfull friends and have connections with other line dance teachers. I would like to give thanks to Ira Yoder for teaching me how to become a teacher and Patty Thompson taught me how to combine steps to new songs and Ruth Deming guided me to become a member of the American Callers.
