Chad Braun, owner and founder of XPR started business in 2008 just 3 short years after moving from his hometown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As far as he can remember, Chad had a passion for bikes. Although he worked on his own cars and did all the work on them, his true passion was bikes. Chad got his start hands on from a reluctant shop owner in Calgary specializing in Ducati service & performance. With no prior work experience on bikes other than maintaining his own, the owner was taking a chance on him. Fast forward 6 years and Chad custom built his own Ducati from nuts and bolts, with the exception of spraying the paint he did it all. Had the shop owner of the Ducati shop not given him the chance on working on these prestigious bikes, Chad may never had been given the opportunity elsewhere. During his teen years, Chad raced most of the local and provincial races throughout Canada. Placing in the top 3, Chad aspired to be an established National Rider. While most parents were taking their kid’s bikes to bike shops, Chad, a bike enthusiast was hands on and self-taught himself all the service on his bikes. He knew at a very young age that owning his own shop was always what he wanted. He would work in his parent’s garage in Canada helping out friends. Now operating in Southern California -the hub of MX/SX racing, Chad is a long way from general service on his own and friend’s bikes out of his parent’s garage. To now working with professional race teams and riders locally and internationally, Chad never forgets where he started. Although he never had the chance to fulfill his National Championship goal, Chad was able to take his racing experience and from that give back to his customers and race teams a competitive edge to those not being supported by factory teams as well as for the bike enthusiast. The Hotel Temecula
The Old WestHistoric Temecula Hotel Straight out of the Old West, the historic Hotel Temecula presents an unbroken connection with the history of Temecula. The hotel showcases museum quality artifacts tracing that history. All the hotel’s historic guest rooms are located on the second floor, where there also is one shared Gentlemans Room with 2 showers, and one shared Ladies Room with 2 showers. Old TownA Little Background The original Hotel opened the same year the Southern California Railroad first arrived in the Temecula Valley. It was built on this site in 1883 by R.J. and Mary Jane Welty. The second of the two hotels was rebuilt on this site after the first hotel was destroyed by fire in 1891. The present building was erected that same year. Both hotels were owned and operated by the Welty family for over thirty years. Later, owner Grace LeClare operated it as both an apartment house and hotel. It was purchased in 1960 by local historian Horace Parker and his wife Leverne who owned the hotel until 2014. The year it was purchased by the Beck Brothers. Only the third time since 1883 that ownership has changed hands. The Old West UpdatedWhat’s Old and What’s New Journey back through time as you explore the hotel. Relax with a cup of coffee in the Guest Parlor or step out onto the Front Porch and enjoy Main Street. The Hotel Temecula and grounds are the perfect setting for your Special Day or Event. Vince’s Spaghetti restaurants are the only restaurants for Real Italian Spaghetti. When Vince’s Spaghetti first opened in Ontario, California in September 1945; it was a simple, six stool, open air restaurant without a kitchen. Back then, Grandma Rose prepared all of the food in her kitchen 50 yards away and hand carried it to the customers. The original Vince’s Spaghetti was located on Highway 70-99, which was the main road to Palm Springs at the time. The business was run by three brothers and their wives. By 1968, Vince’s was billed as the largest spaghetti restaurant west of the Mississippi River (with a kitchen!), seating more than 400 people. Today, because of your patronage, we’ve grown to 3 locations, all family owned and operated, still serving Grandma Rose’s original recipes.
