When choosing a tax professional, it is vitally important to check their credentials which reflect their level of qualification. In other words, are they a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or simply a registered tax return preparer? Registered tax return preparers lack the credentials to have unlimited rights in representing clients before the IRS. However, to become an Enrolled Agent, one must have the experience, and undergo testing set forth by the IRS that allows them unlimited rights. To become a CPA, one must have at least a bachelors degree and undergo much more extensive testing than an Enrolled Agent. Who prepares your return? An Enrolled Agent is authorized at a federal level by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent tax payers before the IRS. They specialize in taxes. What are they authorized to do? CPA's and Enrolled Agents are athorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and have unlimited rights to do so. As a professional catering company the owner, Ronny Tompot, expressed that he noticed there aren't many rehearsal dinner spaces in Temecula and the places that are generally suggested have minimums and lack an interest in offering a space for people to unwind (Keyword) with their loved ones.
