We have work because our customers value our high-quality communications services. We deliver superior customer experiences through our products and our actions. Everything we do, we build on a strong network, systems and process foundation. The quality and reliability of the products we deliver are paramount. Customers pay us to provide them with services that they can rely on. We focus outward on the customer, not inward. We make it easy for customers to do business with us, by listening, anticipating and responding to their needs. We know our products and can explain them to customers. We focus on fundamental execution. We are accountable and we follow through with a sense of urgency. We know that having the highest ethical standards is a competitive advantage. We know teamwork enables us to serve our customers better and faster. We embrace diversity and personal development not only because it's the right thing to do, but also because it's smart business. We are driven not by ego but by accomplishments. We keep our commitments to each other and our customers. Our word is our contract. We respect and trust one another, communicating openly, candidly and directly since any other way is unfair and a waste of time. We voice our opinion and exercise constructive dissent, and then rally around the agreed-upon action with our full support. Any one of us can deliver a view or idea to anyone else, and listen to and value another's view regardless of title or level. Ideas live and die on their merits rather than where they were invented. We believe integrity is at the core of who we are. It establishes the trust that is critical to the relationships we have. We are committed to do the right thing and follow sound business practices in dealing with our customers, suppliers, owners and competitors. Our competitors are not enemies; they are challengers who drive us to improve. We are good corporate citizens and share our success with the community to make the world in which we work better than it was yesterday. We know that bigness is not our strength, best is our strength. Bureaucracy is an enemy. We fight every day to stay "small" and keep bureaucracy out. We are more agile than companies a fraction of our size, because we act fast and take risks every day. We see crisis and change as opportunities, not threats. We run to a crisis, not away from it. Change energizes us. We work hard, take action and take personal accountability for getting things done. Our actions produce measurable results. Everything we do is built on the strong foundation of our corporate values. We work 24x7 because our customers depend on us 24x7. We know our best was good for today. Tomorrow we'll do better. Our Story We are a mall-based specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories operating under the Zumiez brand name. We operate stores primarily located in shopping malls, and have a presence in the United States, Canada, and Europe. We were founded in 1978, originally under the name “Above the Belt” by Thomas D. Campion, our Chairman. Our current CEO, Richard M. Brooks joined us as Chief Financial Officer in 1993. Our stores cater to young men and women between the ages of 12 and 25 who seek popular brands representing a lifestyle centered on activities that include skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX and motocross. We support the action sports lifestyle and promote our brand through a multi-faceted marketing approach that is designed to integrate our brand image with our customers' activities and interests. This approach combined with our differentiated merchandising strategy, focus on an omni-channel purchasing process, store design, comprehensive training programs and passionate employees, allows us to provide an experience for our customers that we believe is consistent with their attitudes, fashion tastes and identities and is otherwise unavailable in most malls. Our stores bring the look and feel of an independent specialty shop to the mall by emphasizing the action sports lifestyle through a distinctive store environment and high-energy sales personnel. We seek to staff our stores with store associates who are knowledgeable users of our products, which we believe provides our customers with enhanced customer service and supplements our ability to identify and react quickly to emerging trends and fashions. We design our stores to appeal to teenagers and to serve as a destination for our customers. Most of our stores, which average approximately 2,900 square feet, feature couches and action sports-oriented video game stations that are intended to encourage our customers to shop for longer periods of time and to interact with each other and our store associates. To increase customer traffic, we generally locate our stores near busy areas of the mall such as food courts, movie theaters, music or game stores and other popular teen retailers. We believe that our distinctive store concept and compelling store economics will provide continued opportunities for growth in both new and existing markets. [read more]

Our produce is all grown from organic seeds which we start right here on our property. Although our farm is not “certified organic”, we do use organic practices and absolutely no pesticides!. We’ve grown many different fruits and vegetables, and many have been sold to local favorite Farm to Table Restaurants in our area. Some of our favorite produce to grow are strawberries, romaine lettuce, and onions! We also love to supply the “juicers” by providing amazing chard, kale, spinach and beets! For those that aren’t quite into veggies, don’t tell them but we do sneak in our zucchini into a delicious zucchini bread that’s available in our market! [read more]

Founder and Lead Attorney at The Cruz Law Office, APC Attorney Narciso Delgado-Cruz Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and brought to the United States at the age of two, Attorney Narciso Delgado-Cruz embodies the immigrant experience. Raised in South Central Los Angeles by humble parents, Narciso witnessed firsthand the challenges and sacrifices that come with seeking a better life in a new country. His father worked tirelessly as a gardener and later in a kitchen, often logging 50-60 hours a week, while his mother devoted herself to caring for Narciso and his seven siblings in a modest one-bedroom apartment. Growing up, Narciso’s parents instilled in him the values of hard work, education, and the pursuit of the American Dream—opportunities that were unimaginable in their native Mexico. His mother’s dreams for her children to become doctors, engineers, or lawyers fueled his determination to succeed. As the first in his family to attend college and law school, Narciso understands the obstacles that immigrant families face and the importance of perseverance. Witnessing his family’s two-decade journey to obtain legal status profoundly impacted Narciso. His father’s eventual residency not only allowed for a joyous reunion with his grandmother in Oaxaca after 20 years apart but also opened doors for better job opportunities and the freedom to live without fear. These experiences inspired Narciso to dedicate his life to helping others navigate the complex path to legal residency and citizenship Narciso earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, all while working full-time to support himself. He then pursued his legal education in San Diego, driven by a passion to serve the immigrant community with compassion and understanding. Since joining the California Bar in 2011, Narciso has passionately represented clients, focusing on addressing the injustices faced by undocumented immigrants, particularly in cases involving labor abuse and modern slavery under the T visa. Authorized to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the Executive Office for Immigration Review, he brings extensive experience to every case he handles. Before founding The Cruz Law Office, APC, Narciso honed his skills at one of San Diego’s largest immigration firms. Fluent in English and Spanish, Narciso combines strong analytical skills with personalized client attention. He has built his practice primarily through satisfied clients and trusted connections within the legal community. At The Cruz Law Office, APC, he leads a dedicated team—many of whom are immigrants themselves or come from immigrant families—who understand the immigration system firsthand. For Narciso, being an advocate for immigrants is more than a profession; it’s a personal mission rooted in his own life’s journey. He is honored to help families and individuals realize their dreams of legal status in the U.S., actively defending immigrant communities, and fighting for the American Dream for all. With experience, compassion, and effectiveness, Narciso ensures that the client is always the top priority [read more]

The Cleveland National Forest is the southern-most National Forest in California. Consisting of 460,000 acres (720 sq mi) (1,900 km), the forest offers a wide variety of terrains and recreational opportunities. Until the arrival in San Diego of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, the lands now within the Cleveland National Forest were known only to the desert and coastal Indian tribes who used them. The Kumeyaay, Luiseños, Cahuilla and Cupeño found a good living on the abundant acorns and game. Many of our trails today follow those routes first used by these early dwellers. [read more]
