After a few years of having solar panels installed on my home, I noticed a decrease in production and at the end of the year, the true-up bill was higher than expected. I then decided to go up on my roof and realized the panels were very dirty! At this point, I contacted the solar company that installed my solar system to have them cleaned. They told me their company does not provide any kind of routine maintenance, which was disappointing. So I did some research and found the best method to properly clean any solar array. I bought a soft bristle brush and cleaned my panels. After cleaning the panels the first time, I was blown away and noticed a little over 30% increase in production. During my commute to work, I realized that there were a lot of dirty solar panels out there and no one cleaning them, this is when “Mr. Glossy LLC” was born. My company now uses the best methods and tools necessary to accomplish amazing results. We use a boars hair brush with distilled water to get the best clean and spotless dry.
