Before Glen Bell created Taco Bell, he started Bell's Drive-In and Taco Tia in the San Bernardino area.

Glen Bell opens his first Taco Bell restaurant in Downey, CA, serving what his customers called "Tay-Kohs."

Retired L.A. policemen, Kermit Becky, becomes Taco Bell's first franchisee, opening a restaurant in Torrance, CA.

Taco Bell's 100th restaurant opens at 400 South Brookhurst in Anaheim.

Taco Bell delivery arrives to select markets across the country. The new Tacobell.com is born— including desktop ordering and The Feed. To save it from demolition, Taco Bell moved its original restaurant, Numero Uno, from Downey, CA to the Irvine headquarters.

In February, Taco Bell launched the Quesalupa - a shell stuffed with melted pepper jack cheese. The Taco Bell Foundation launched the Live Más Scholarship, a program aimed at empowering the nation’s next generation of dreamers, innovators and creators.

Wedding Bells are ringing as Taco Bell begins hosting weddings at the Las Vegas Cantina. Taco Bell released its first-ever retail collaboration, Forever 21 x Taco Bell. The men’s collection completely sold out online within the first day.
2018
Taco Bell launched Nacho Fries, the most successful product launch in the company’s history. Taco Bell 2032 - In honor of the return of Nacho Fries and the 25th Anniversary of Demolition Man, Taco Bell brought Taco Bell 2032 to life in a futuristic pop up dining experience at Comic Con San Diego.

Our History
It’s hard to imagine, but when we opened Texas Lil’s back in January of 1987, there was just one street light and McDonald’s had not even been built! Temecula was often called Rancho California because we were not even a city but just an unincorporated area of Riverside County without a police department.
Our little hometown events like the Tractor Race, Balloon & Wine Festival, Rod Run & Quilt Show, and others have grown into major tourist attractions. Although we have seen tremendous growth, the wonderful things that originally drew us to the Temecula Valley remain. Beautiful surroundings, great weather, terrific educational opportunities, and easy access to anywhere else we want to visit.
Texas Lil’s is and remains a family-owned and operated business. The restaurant is our business, our hobby, and our passion. It is part of the fabric of the Temecula community and we are thankful to be part of this history as well as the exciting future. We have come to be known for

Cantor's Driving School - Serving All Of Riverside County
Allan Cantor opened the first Cantor’s Driving School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976. This father of four was a History Teacher and Disciplinarian at Overbrook High School in West Philadelphia. He began teaching students how to drive part-time and on the weekends. Soon, he had taught nearly every teen in the area how to drive.
Allan was the best driving instructor around. He was known for his jovial personality and relatability with his students. A stop off to grab a famous Philadelphia cheesesteak during a lesson was not out of the question – and something his students loved about him. Of course it was the 1970s and times were different then, but Cantor’s Driving School has always been about Family, Community, and Safety.
As years went by, Cantor’s Driving School grew into the neighboring Philadelphia suburbs. And as his children grew, his youngest son Frank joined the family business. Learning the ins-and-outs of being a great driving instructor from his father, Frank was able to expand Cantor’s Driving School into 5 states – Pennsylvania, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and California.
Today, Frank Cantor owns and operates Cantor’s Driving School with his wife, Cheri, continuing the tradition of a family-owned and operated business. They are committed to teaching the pillars of safe driving to their students – Respect for the Road, Respect for Other Drivers, and Awareness of Outside Distractions.

Two San Diego brothers, Brian and Matt Kennedy, started their California Dream when they opened their first Submarina Franchise in 1996, making by far their favorite sub of all time! Trained and mentored by the founders of Submarina themselves, the brothers started opening Submarina locations all over San Diego and became known as the Sub-bros.
