Our produce is all grown from organic seeds which we start right here on our property. Although our farm is not “certified organic”, we do use organic practices and absolutely no pesticides!. We’ve grown many different fruits and vegetables, and many have been sold to local favorite Farm to Table Restaurants in our area. Some of our favorite produce to grow are strawberries, romaine lettuce, and onions! We also love to supply the “juicers” by providing amazing chard, kale, spinach and beets! In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho.
