Since we met in our 20’s, decades ago, my husband and I have lived the healthy, adventurous, entrepreneurial California lifestyle. After careers in real estate and wholesaling, for over a decade now we’ve devoted our finances, energy and time to tea. We are loose tea fanatics. We don’t just like it..we’re passionate about it! The tea adventure started for me in the early 2000′s when I began to study tea and source and develop relationships with some of the finest growers, importers and blenders in the world. A partner and I cofounded a retail tea company in 2004, which eventually opened 3 stores in Southern California resort areas. In 2008, my husband and I became partners in a retail tea store called California Tea & Coffee Brewery in the Wine Country of Southern California, which we operated until December of 2012. See the 5 star yelp and Google reviews, a few shown below.. Since 2009, I have been an invited monthly guest contributor to the #1 tea blog, voted so by World Tea Expo 2016, T Ching. In addition, I have trained restaurant staff in serving loose tea and been interviewed by publications including the international newspaper China Daily on the subject of tea. Dr. Jeff Prais is a native of Southern California and grew up right here in Southwest Riverside County in Temecula. After graduating from Temecula Valley High, he spent the next eight years in the Bay Area completing his education.
