I thought “hmm, that might not be a fit for me because I’m already tan.” Wow, was I wrong about that. My passion for spray tanning only blossomed from there! As an adoptee, growing up my skin tone was something that I was insecure about. I wasn’t surrounded by anyone that looked like me or had my darker features. One day, my grandma sat me down with a popular magazine and we looked through it together. She pointed out all the beautiful celebrity women with rich skin tones and the ones with spray tans. She told me “honey, your skin is beautiful and people pay to look like you!” I started Sprayed Sultry to help other women feel beautiful in their own skin! I have been spray tan certified since 2016. I love to share my passion for food and having people enjoy it makes me feel good. Since I was very young, I have been taking cooking classes at school or hosting them at home. With my friends, we used to pick fruits from my garden and made a tart or a cake with our bounty. Every summer, I loved to make the raspberry sauce to go with my mom's apple crumble tart. My Mom and Dad hosted a lot of dinners, so I have always been surrounded by good cooking, quality food, and many memorable moments with friends. In May of 2006, Mike and Debbie, the owner-operators of Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours had purchased a motorized 1914 San Francisco cable car. Debbie was reluctant of the purchase because of the shape it was in, but Mike could visualize a restored cable car running through Temecula and he couldn’t wait to restore the car to its former glory! It took over two years to refurbish and fully-restore the cable car to its original conditions, but with a lot of patience, sandpaper, paint, and mechanical parts, the cable car was restored and set off to cruise through the beautiful Temecula wine country. Our San Francisco cable car is the only historical moving monument left in the United States, and even though the cable car is motorized, passengers will experience the feel and essence of San Francisco as they experience Temecula Valley wine country!
