Studio 4 Ceramics is a sister company to CR Studio 4, which is a production ceramic and metal Art tile studio. We've been in business for over twenty eight years. The owners, Cy & Robin Vojak both have degrees in art and love creating with clay. Our ceramic tile studio produces beautiful hand made tile during the day, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. We then transform our tile production facility into an environment perfect for creating with clay. We have 8 pottery wheels and lots of table space. Our studio has 2- 80 cubic ft. gas kilns (yes that's huge) and a smaller 18 cubic ft gas kiln. We also have a Raku kiln and two electric kilns. Our Heritage Our story begins in 1971 along the cobblestone streets of Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. It was here where Starbucks opened its first store, offering fresh-roasted coffee beans, tea and spices from around the world for our customers to take home. Our name was inspired by the classic tale, “Moby-Dick,” evoking the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders. Ten years later, a young New Yorker named Howard Schultz would walk through these doors and become captivated with Starbucks coffee from his first sip.
