Thompson and Twain provides a glimpse back in time: modern day hospitality meets the ambiance experienced in a Western frontier town. The setting, Decor and menu harken back to a dangerous and rough time in America’s history. Join us in search of fortune and adventure. Offerings Our main focus is precise cocktail service at Thompson and Twain! For food, beer and wine we are happy to direct you to our neighboring establishments, Crush & Brew and Espadín. Our cocktail menu leans heavily towards time appropriate spirits – Rye and Bourbon Whiskey along with Gin, but we offer the full range of familiar spirits. We pride ourselves on custom cocktail craftsmanship and will make a drink tailored to your preference based on a few questions and your direction. WALK INS ONLY Seating for the bar is by walk in only based upon availability. We kindly ask that parties are limited to 8 per group and that you keep your visit to two hours or less so we can make welcome other guests in our limited space. Sorry folks, but there were no phones in the 1800s and there ain't any now in our bar to accept requests or inquires regarding available seating. Please check in person with the host or lead bartender on duty for wait times or to put your name on the wait list. Dress Code Time period appropriate clothing or formal wear is not required but encouraged. Please leave your revolvers, carbines and blades at the door. This is a civilized saloon. Behavior While the Western frontier was defined by roughnecks, ruffians and general lawlessness, guests in Thompson and Twain are expected to maintain decorum and etiquette. Inebriation, barfights, unwelcome advances, hollering, pistol duels, bounty hunting, moonshining, catcalling, cheating at cards, liar’s dice, and tobacco chewing are strictly prohibited. 21+ Only While the west was known for disorder and rebellion, we abide by the local governance and require that all patrons be a minimum of 21 years of age. Our Story Roberto Vigilucci is passionate about food. He prides himself on unparalleled Italian home cooking reminiscent of his childhood in Milano, where families are raised in kitchens and food is a centerpiece of the culture. Upon visiting the U.S. in the mid-1980s, Roberto fell in love with San Diego and decided to call it home. Long sensing a need for classic Italian cuisine in San Diego, Roberto opened his first restaurant, Vigilucci’s Trattoria, in 1994 in downtown Encinitas. The Trattoria was an instant success and quickly became one of San Diego’s most popular dining spots. The restaurant moved to a larger location in Leucadia in 2004. [read more]

About Us Our slogan is "Quality materials, expert installation, and value pricing" We are a full-service flooring retailer. Our main clientele is the large retirement community of Sun City. Seniors are often looked at as easy targets by some who are looking to make a quick sale, and that has made many in the community wary of doing business with anyone that uses high-pressure tactics. We try to cultivate our place in the community as a provider for their flooring needs now and in the future, and not in pursuit of a quick, one-time transaction. Customers shop with us because they are in need of some variant of flooring. Our knowledge of the industry and the products we have available give us a real leg-up against our competitors. I have been in the orbit of this industry my entire life, and my father has been in flooring for going on 40 years. We started the business in the summer of 2008. Most will agree that year was probably the least hospitable year in memory for commercial enterprise. Ours was a genesis of necessity; flooring stores were closing everywhere, and, as a flooring contractor, we needed to generate business any way we could. The first few years were very rough. Weeks would go by when we saw only a handful of customers walk through our doors. As we generated more and more of a foothold in the local community, we started to receive references from previous clients, and that got us through the tumultuous economy into which we first opened our doors. Our Staff: Bruce Miller - Owner - Production tile contractor - Residential tile contractor - Retail flooring sales Robert Miller - Installations Manager - Tile and flooring contractor Lonney Duckworth - Sales - Carpet and flooring contractor - Retail flooring sales We are located on Bradley Rd two doors down from H&R Block and directly across the street from McDonald's. Areas we service include: Sun City, CA, Menifee, CA, Perris, CA, Canyon Lake, CA, Lake Elsinore, CA, Murrieta, CA, Temecula, CA, Wildomar, CA, Hemet, CA, San Jacinto, CA, Riverside, CA, Corona, CA, Moreno Valley, CA The below are types of flooring particularly suited to the climate in our area. The most popular type of flooring suited to the climate Porcelain tile and waterproof laminate. Hardwood is a pain on concrete slabs. Carpet is still holding its own. [read more]
