Joshua Melendez graduated high school in the class of 2017 knowing he wanted to pursue a career as a barber. After a year of restaurant work he had saved enough money to enroll in the Royale College of Beauty and continued to work as he put himself through school. He graduated barber college late 2019 and passed the CA state board exam January 2, 2020. He was hired at a local Supercuts shortly after and continued to work there as well as at home in his garage until finally starting his own business within the skyline barber shop where he ran his business for 7 months before moving to The Butchers Barber Shop in 2021 where he currently works.
